About Us
The Kelly Wright School of Dance was established in 2023.
From the age of 5 Kelly trained at the Kim Bardsley School of Dance and successfully passed all of her Graded Examinations as well as her Intermediate & Advanced 1 Exams .
Kelly had the dream to follow in the footsteps of Kim and become a dance teacher from a very young age, after being so inspired by her in class.
In 2011 Kelly began her studies at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance, and graduated in 2014 with a BA(Hons) in Dance Education.
A year later Kelly completed further modules under the watchful eye of Kim Bardsley and qualified as a Registered Teacher of the Royal Academy of Dance, allowing her to coach and enter students for examinations.
Alongside her ballet qualifications Kelly holds her Associate Level Latin American teaching qualification with the United Kingdom Alliance.
In July 2023 Kim Bardsley made the heart wrenching decision to hang up her dancing shoes and retire after 40 Years of dedication to the art of dance teaching.
Kim taught and nurtured many students over her teaching years.
Kelly wishes to carry on the legacy that Kim created and continue to pass on the knowledge and passion for dance that Kim instilled in her from day one.
